OneHope men have 3 core beliefs:
Men are human. Sometimes they are expected to carry the weight their family, their marriage, their employees, their coworkers, and their friends- all while keeping it all together. "Men are human" means that we believe we can't do it all. It's ok to ask for help. It's ok to not have all the answers. It's ok to not be perfect. That's what it means to be human.
Men are called to be more. Men can feel this. We know we were meant to stand up. To shoulder the joyful burden of responsibility. We know we were meant for more than a life lived for oneself. We believe we are called to more, to live for God and others.
Men are nothing without Jesus. This means exactly what it says. WE cannot answer that call to be more, we cannot accept the weakness of being human, we cannot truly be men without Jesus.
Here’s how to get involved:
Come to a men's breakfast. They meet every second Saturday, 9am at OneHope.
Get into a men's group. They meet at least twice a month all over the city.
